Introduction
"OTARIA" is a magnificent example of a Cranchi Atlantique 40 Flybridge Motor Yacht. The Atlantique 40 is a sleek and curvaceous European flybridge sport yacht featuring two staterooms two heads & showers with upper and lower steering stations. She was built in Piantedo Italy by Cantiere Nautico Cranchi S.r.l. a family owned boat builder since 1870 where quality and pride of craftsmanship are valued above all else. While the exterior screams Italian the interior is very much Americanized with large spacious living area galley and staterooms. All of the major subsystems including Volvo Penta QL Raymarine and Fisher Panda are readily serviced in the United States and around the world. The ability to operate the vessel from the Flybridge on days when beautiful weather abounds yet slip down into air-conditioned comfort on those less than perfect days is an amazing advantage on a vessel of this size. She is small enough to take out for a sunset cruise with family and friends yet large enough for extended cruising through the Bahamas delivering a smooth stable and dry ride. "OTARIA" is seriously for sale. Aft Deck & Swim Platform
"OTARIA" may be boarded from either Port or Starboard from a fixed dock or from the swim platform and through the transom door from a floating dock. Both the cockpit and swim platform have Teak decks (they are currently natural (gray) but could easily be cleaned sanded and oiled if you prefer that look). Built into the swim platform is a fold-out stainless swim ladder. There is also a fold-up stainless boarding handle for a hand up. Also built into the platform is a storage locker which is large enough to store 2 or 3 fenders. Accessible from the starboard side of the swim platform is a locker door which contains a Fresh Water (hot/cold) Shower Cable TV Inlet and Dockside Water Inlet. The 50 shore power cord on a Glendenning cable reel is towards the Port side of the swim platform. The cockpit has comfortable seating for 4 adults. In the deck is a large hatch to access the engine room and lazarette. Stored on the bottom side of that hatch is a fold-out cockpit table for convenient entertainment or meals in the open fresh air. The stainless bridge ladder with its wide teak covered treads is to Starboard and is designed not to hinder the aft visibility from the lower helm station. There is storage below the aft seating and storage lockers to both Port and Starboard. The double salon doors open wide for both ease of access as well as to open the cabin up on the nicer days. The doors and fixed glass panes on either side are mirrored for both a sleek look and added cabin privacy when they are closed. There is a Cranchi custom full white canvas cockpit enclosure to seal off the cockpit from the elements. This is often used to make the cockpit another sleeping area or to double the size of the salon in the evening hours.
Flybridge
The Flybridge of "Otaria" is open spacious and comfortable. The helm seat is a double so your favorite navigator can be close by. A single companion seat to port allows for a third person to join the navigation duties. The aft lounge comfortably seats 3 adults bringing the total Flybridge seating to 6 adults. A wet bar with sink storage and refrigerator provides refreshments without having to leave the Flybridge. Salon
Upon entering the salon through the mirrored double sliding doors you are greeted by rich American Cherry Wood furniture nautical Navy Blue Carpeting Curtains and Ivory Leather L-Sofa & Double Helm Seat. The salon is roomy and easily accommodates up to 6 adults. A Cherry Wood cocktail table expands to allow dining for 4 adults. Entertainment is provided by a 20" Sharp Aquos LCD TV Power Acoustic DVD Player and Clarion AM/FM/CD changer w/separate 6 Disc CD changer. Tucked neatly out of view within a Cherry Wood cabinet is an Isotherm Wet Ice Maker. Air-Conditioning (and heating) is provided by a 32000 BTU Condaria Chilled Water dual-zone Air-Conditioning system. A navy-blue canvas cover can be snapped down over the salon carpet to save on wear and tear.
Salon Helm Station
The salon helm station has great visibility. A double wide helm seat allows you to have your favorite navigator close by. Having an interior steering station makes longer cruises enjoyable with a way to take a break from the wind and sun as well as a way to get out of the elements when those summer showers spring up. Galley
The galley is finished in the same American Cherry Wood cabinetry and features a Corian countertop. The galley is spacious with ample cabinet storage above and below the counter. The sink is a large double stainless unit. A Sharp Carousel Microwave is built-in above the counter. An Isotherm Refrigerator/Freezer is built-in below behind a Cherry door. The 2 burner Schott Ceran cook top is recessed with covers to allow for additional counter space when not in use.
Master Stateroom
The master is located in the bow and features an Island Queen berth with private ensuite head and shower. The berth features a custom mattress with custom spread and shams in a tropical island motif. The linens are 100% cotton in a 360 thread count. Natural lighting is provided by a large circular overhead opening deck hatch with Ocean Air retractable cover and screen as well as two (one port and one starboard) opening hull side port lights (with removable screens). A hanging locker is to port and a shelf locker is to starboard. Two large drawers pull out from below the berth. A 15" Sharp Aquos LCD TV with Cyber Home DVD player provides evening entertainment. There are AC/heat controls as well as reading lamps.
Master Head & Shower
The master head and shower are accessible from within the master stateroom only. The stall shower is of ample size and features an acrylic partition. Ample medicine chest and storage are provided as well as conveniently placed mirrors.
VIP Stateroom
The VIP stateroom is located athwart ship from the Galley and features twin side by side berths with a large hanging locker and private entry to the VIP Head. Custom spreads and shams are provided in the guest stateroom.
VIP / Day Head & Shower
The VIP/Day Head & Shower are just forward of the VIP Guest Stateroom and features a stall shower with ample counter space sink medicine chest and storage.

Broker's Comments
"OTARIA" is very clean and shows that she has been well cared for since new. Her low hours are reflected in her condition. A seller's survey was performed and the few minor issues that were discovered have been addressed. The annual maintenance has also been performed to allow a new owner to enjoy her trouble free for the next 12 to 18 months. Also keep in mind that "OTARIA" has the D-6 Common Rail Electronic engines which are modern (still in production for 2011) quiet and smoke free. Earlier years of 40 Atlantique were not available with the D-6 and have the older mechanical TAMD Volvo engines.

Below is a list of service that has been performed on "OTARIA." Olsen Marine Services Inc. (a licensed and bonded yacht service facility) performed all of the work. The work was performed in September of 2010 with an invoice date of 9/17/2010.
